1. Fold the towel in half by putting the 2 short sides of the towel together.

2. Place a pin at the top of the fold to mark the towel's center. Re-open the towel with the intended inside facing you.

3. Place the rough half of the hook-and-loop tape along the top edge on the left side, and the fuzzy part along the top edge on the right side. Also put each piece of tape the same distance from its closest edge so that the rough part will match the fuzzy part once the cover is sewn together. (See illustration above.)

4. Pin the tape down and then, on the sewing machine, stitch along the 4 sides of each piece of tape.

5. Refold the towel so that the inside of the cover (or wrong side) is on the outside. (See photo.)

6. Stitch down the side and across the bottom, and turn the case right-side-out.

7. Insert the pillow, press the hook-and-loop tape together, and watch while your curious dog climbs in and goes to sleep!
